ThreeChordGuitar.com: How to play a classical guitar-inspired piece

November 14, 2010

Free guitar video lesson on a classical music-inspired piece that I wrote 17 years ago. Part I of two videos.

  1. Please state the key you are playing in before playing the song or lick?

    • Sorry, I don’t function like that. Actually, my site is the antithesis of the whole key, modes and everything else of that ilk. I studied at the music conservatory for 10 years – and it almost killed my love for music. So I’ve left that behind, and I teach it that way… 🙂

  2. Hey Mojo, I’ve been following your videos for over a year. You’ve managed to rekindle my love for the guitar after over 30 years of neglect due to bad memories of a poor instructor that I once had as a young child. I’m really digging your teaching style. Thank you for all of your effort.

I’m also really liking this particular video. I’m looking forward to part 2.

    • Thanks for the kind words, you made my day 🙂
BTW, the second part will come when my finger nails, which broke recently, have grown back enough that I can actually pick again 🙂

  3. hey mojo,i just wanted to say that i love this riff and i was wondering if you had anymore up your sleeve ? i just love how these more classical pieces sound

  4. I loved this piece ,is part two out yet I can’t seem to find it.

    Thank you
