PR: Blues riff inspired by Rollin’ and Tumblin’ (Muddy Waters)

January 17, 2010

I was jamming and messing around and came up with this riff inspired by the classic blues tune “Rollin’ and Tumblin'”, and figured I’d share 🙂

That song’s been recorded by 100s of blues artists, and apparently dates back to 1928, but the versions I always think about are the ones by Muddy Waters, Cream and Johnny Winter.

Gear used:

Ron Thorn Junior 90, koa top
Swart AST
Route 66 overdrive and compressor

  1. Hey! Very nice and clear. Excellent presentation. Please keep up the good work!
